1st day : Tbilisi - main sightseeing of the capital of Georgia+Mtskheta, Jvari monastery
2nd day: Gudauri mountains , ski resort , Kazbegi mountain tour , overnight in Tbilisi
3rd day : Kakheti region , Kvareli and winery Khareba – overnight in Tbilisi
1stday:
Tour starts at Metekhi plateau, from where is perfect panoramic view to the old city –Narikala fortress, Bath district,which bathes are very well known for theirs sulfur waters. Meidan - is the heart of Old Tbilisi, all filled with a lot of restaurants, souvenir shops, etc. Kala district, Betlemi district – these places are also worth to see. So tourists can have a look to the all old city, which will explore next few hours. Here is located also statue of king Vakhang Gorgasali – founder of Tbilisi, and tourists will learn about history of the city. Next we will walk in a great park Rike . For getting to the park we should cross the bridge of Peace, which construction is unique and modern, and it gives new look to the Old city.
After by cableway we will go up to Narikala fortress, and we will be able to see Georgia’s national botanical garden , by crossing Shardeni street we will visit Georgia’s patriarch Ilia 2 residention and very nice other sights .
Next stop in Old capital of Georgia Mtskheta . Mtskheta (Georgian: მცხეთა [mtsʰxɛtʰɑ]) is a city in Mtskheta-Mtianeti province of Georgia. One of the oldest cities of Georgia, it is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) north of Tbilisi at the confluence of the Aragvi river.
Due to its historical significance and several cultural monuments, the "Historical Monuments of Mtskheta" became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. As the birthplace and one of the most vibrant centers of Christianity in Georgia, Mtskheta was declared as the "Holy City" by the Georgian Orthodox Church in 2014
First we will visit Jvari monastery with its great view, where 2 rivers are joining each other.
Jvari Monastery (Georgian: ჯვრის მონასტერი) is a sixth century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta, eastern Georgia. Along with other historic structures of Mtskheta, it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
After Jvari , visit Mtskheta . and back to Tbilisi .
2nd day : Gudauri mountains ski resort
Places to visit are, Jinvali reservoir, Ananuri fortress, Gudauri mountains , Kazbegi which are very nice and unique in this time of year .
