Day 1 - Yerevan Tour,Garni and Geghard
Museum of Armenia,Matenadaran This is one of the largest manuscript repositories in the world,Armenian Genocide Memorial Museum Tsitsernakaberd.Garni , a pagan temple of the 1st century AC.A Trip to the monastery Geghard which is carved into a rock (literally - "The Monastery of the Spear")
Day 2 - Lake Sevan Trip
A trip to the picturesque Lake Sevan - a miracle of nature, merging with the sky, the most beautiful among the high mountain lakes located in a huge bowl of mountains at an elevation of 1.916 m above sea level. Its water is clear and pure. According to legend, only the stars and gods drank from it. The trip also includes a visit to the fortress on the island where, in 921 the Armenian king Ashot II the Iron, fortified on the island of Sevan, defeated the army of the general Beshir on the shore of the lake, thus clearing the kingdom from foreign invaders.
Day 3 - Khor Virap
A trip to the monastery of Khor Virap (“deep pit”) which is located near the border with Turkey. The best view of Biblical Mount Ararat opens from here. According to legend, Noah moored here on the ark after the Flood. The entrance to the underground prison, which has survived to our days, is located in the chapel of St. Gregory, built in 1661. Gregory the illuminator - the founder of Christianity in Armenia, was tortured here in 303 AD.A trip to Etchmiadzin which may be translated as “the place where the Only Begotten descended"). It is the monastery of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the seat of the throne of the Supreme Patriarch from 303. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.A trip to Zvartnots - temple of early medieval Armenian architecture.
